Custom Tattoos for All Styles and Tastes
Iron Butterfly is located in Mahopac NY, about an hour north of Manhattan. Since 2015 the shop had been owned by Amanda Bonanno, and currently the roster of artists are all Hudson Valley females. The shop prides itself on being a welcoming space that houses a variety of styles. Our artists have pursued traditional media before tattooing, and have a strong foundational background in composition, color theory, anatomy, and design. Our shop is custom artwork, we offer completely unique designs, we do not copy the designs of other tattoo artists.

We are open Tuesdays through Saturdays, from 2pm until about 7pm. Closing hours vary as we tend to leave when our work is finished.

Amanda
Shop owner, Amanda has been tattooing for over 13 years. She can do any style from classic tribal to realism. Her favorite thing in the world is All Might. Let her do your anime tattoos.
Artist
Rizza
Rizza has spent the last decade working in illustration and has transitioned into tattooing in 2021. Her favorite subjects are plants and animals, especially birds, along with portraits
(pet or person). She focuses on fine line black and grey.
Artist/ Piercer
Sandy
Sandy loves abstracts, patterns and using all the colors. She's inspired by classic 80s and 90s cartoons and is like Tim Burton if he was inverted into a rainbow. For bold colors and lines check her out!

Emily has been tattooing throughout the Hudson Valley for over a decade. She works in both black and grey and color and has a great eye for detail and decorative pieces.
